1 A family and gastronomic Christmas
Grandvalira has once again become one of the reference snow destinations for
Christmas holidays. This is demonstrated by the average of
more than 16,000 daily skiers who have visited the Snow Domain between December 23 and January 8, which represents an increase of approximately
13% over the previous campaign. The days with more affluence have been concentrated, as usual, during the New Year's Eve week (December 28, 29 and 30) and the days before Three Kings Day (January 3 and 4). The origin of the skiers who have visited Grandvalira during the holidays have been mainly proximity destinations such as Catalonia, Madrid, Valencia and southern France, but there has also been an increase in the name of visitors from other farther destinations such as Portugal, United Kingdom, Russia or Israel. On the other hand, due to the lack of snow in a good part of the French resorts, the presence of skiers of the Gallic country has increased during these holidays.

The domain's field teams have worked hard to guarantee the best snow conditions despite the anticyclonic situation of the first leg of the season. The low temperatures have enabled the activation of the inhalation network and the treading of the machines has been worked very meticulously.
Thanks to the effort and dedication of
Grandvalira's technical staff, the domain still offers the
largest ski area in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the
best snow conditions in southern Europe . During the Christmas season, skiers have been able to enjoy
more than 150 km of skiers spread over the six sectors of the domain with more than
85% of the ski lifts thus guaranteeing a fluid transport capacity in the different points of the resort.
A family and gastronomic Christmas
This Christmas campaign,
Grandvalira has offered a complete program of activities aimed at all types of audiences, especially families and more "gourmet" skiers. The smallest of the family have returned to be the main protagonists of these days with children's circuits such as the Mon (t) Magic in Canillo, the Imaginarium circuit in Grau Roig and the Bababoom Circus of El Tarter. But without a doubt, the most magical moments of these festivals have coincided with the arrival of Santa Claus and His Majesties the Kings of the East, who have visited the domain for another year.
This Christmas has also been very gastronomic with foodie proposals that have expanded the quality offer already existing at the resort. Thus, the resort has joined one of the gastronomic trends of the moment adapting it to the snow world with the launch of two food ratracks . These are two ratrack machines conditioned as itinerary restoration points that run through the six sectors of the resort offering a gourmet gastronomic offer (Nomad Gourmet Food Ratrack) and the best American cuisine (Hard Rock Food Ratrack).

The après-ski of Grandvalira has also once again become one of the main attractions for skiers who have chosen the largest domain in southern Europe to spend their Christmas holidays. This year, the Pas de la Casa sector has the Diamond CBbC Grandvalira, a new leisure point managed by the team of Cala Bassa Beach Club of Ibiza and born with the will to diversify the après-ski offer of the resort and energize the afternoons in the area. For its part, L'Abarset in the El Tarter sector has once again become one of the nerve centers of the Pyrenees with performances by renowned DJs such as Miqui Puig, Dj Bias, Wally López or Viktor Ollé.
Finally, this Christmas Grandvalira has once again become the resort with the widest freestyle offer in the Pyrenees thanks to the work of the inivation teams, machines and shapers. In total, the most intrepid skiers have enjoyed the three snowparks of the domain for 12 hours a day, from 9 am to 9 pm.
