Resort Closed
Candanchú is more than 1500m above sea level in a beautiful setting of the Aragonese Pyrenees. This is one of the oldest resorts in Spain, inauguarada in 1928 and one of the most beautiful.
It is the Spanish ski resort has one of the best and most comprehensive beginners' areas of the world. But it also has red and black runs and various off-piste routes. Also, for the more adventurous skiers and snowboarders will find a snowpark.
The resort has parking lots on the slopes. Usually no trouble parking, but if you go during holidays is likely to find it more crowded than usual or have to give some laps to find accommodation.

El trato del personal de la escuela de esquí Candanchú, todo el mundo muy amable y por supuesto la amabilidad y alegría de los chicos y chicas del kiosko pista grande donde alquilamos el material. Tanto el bar como la tienda de alquiler es buenisimo el trato y la calidad de los productos

Me han gustado las pistas
La pasividad de algunos trabajadores en el reenvío de algunas sillas. Al ser remontes tan antiguos deberían salir de la caseta para ayudar o avisar a los clientes que las sillas te llevan por delante si no estás acostumbrado

La parte de abajo esta muy bien preparada para el tiempo tan malo que nos tocó. Igual en otra estación no hubiéramos podido hacer nada.
La nieve estaba genial.
Algunos de los remontes metían un golpazo tremendo. Aparte, en mi caso fui con una persona principiante y más allá de las pistas de abajo no pudimos subir, ya que si o si hay que introducirse en las rojas para poder bajar. No pudimos disfrutar de todo su potencial. Habrá que volver!!
The bottom part is very well prepared for the bad weather that touched us. Maybe at another station we could not do anything. The snow was great.
Some of the lifts put a tremendous blow. Apart, in my case I went with a beginner person and beyond the tracks below we could not go up, since yes or if you have to enter the red ones to be able to go down. We could not enjoy its full potential. We will have to go back!

Me ha gustado la presencia de la zona de seguridad que te permite la práctica aún en condiciones desfavorables. El trato familiar de los pisteros más antiguos. Y el nivel profesional de las escuelas.
Más oferta de las actividades relacionadas con la práctica de deportes de nieve y más ofertas de tiempo libre al acabar la jornada en la pistas.

Me parece que es una estación en su estado puro y poco comercial, me parece muy agradable en todos los aspectos y me encantaría volver.
Lo que no me ha gustado ha sido la gran cantidad de colegios que van y las colas que hay en determinados sitios.
Otra de las cosas la falta de papeleras o al menos más visibles la gente por desgracia no cuida lo que tiene y aquello esta con colillas por el suelo y envoltorios , seguramente de los niños que para a comer pero...deberían cuidar más la joya que tienen.

What I did not like has been the large number of schools that go and the queues that there are in certain places. Lo único que me ha gustado es que estaba cerca del hotel
El primer día,había nevado durante toda la noche y las pistas no estaban pisadas y el segundo hacia viento y no había ni una sola silla abierta,cuando en Astun se veían las sillas en marcha. Creo que está un poco anticuada...

Tiene muchas pistas para principiantes. Además un autobús gratuito da la vuelta por el pueblo y te recoge y te deja donde le digas para no cargar con los esquis.
Por lo general, la comida, menús diarios, platos combinados, etc... Son muy caros.

Le village semble vide (du moins lors de notre sejour) alors que plusieurs endroits assez atypiques et sympas étaient ouverts. Et les commerçants sont accueillants et souriants (pour ceux que nous avons fait)
Pour être à 1km de la France quasiment personne ne parle français et anglais.
Les pistes sont très tres mal balisées et cela devient limite dangereux lors de mauvais temps. Et pour les débutants attention à ne pas rester bloqué dans les télésièges ou tir-fesse car ils s'en foutent royalement et arrêtent les machines vraiment au dernier moment (ma copine c'est fait percuté par un télésiège sans que la personne ne bronche alors qu'il avait une parfaite visue de ce qui allait se passer)
The village seems empty (at least during our stay) while several quite unusual and fun places were open. And traders are welcoming and smiling (for those we did)
To 1km of France almost nobody speaks French and English. The tracks are very poorly marked and it becomes dangerous limit in bad weather. And for beginners careful not to get stuck in the lifts or shot-cheek because they do not care royally and stop the machines really last minute (my girlfriend is actually hit by a chair lift without the person not flinch when he had a perfect visue of what was going to happen)
