If you are passionate about the Catalan Pyrenees and the Aragonese Pyrenees, skiing at the Luz-Ardiden ski resort is a good option to go to too. Located in the North part of the Ardiden massif, in the Midi-Pyrénées region of France, in the heart of Toy and just 12 km from Luz-Saint-Sauveur, this ski resort is ideal ski and snow lovers.

Inaugurated in 1975, Luz-Ardiden extends over 110 hectares and three hillsides where it's possible to enjoy winter sports: Aulian, Béderet and Cloze, located between 1,680 m and 2,500 m of altitude. To all these attractions you should add the Bernazaou freeride track, with a drop of 1,250 metres.

Although expert skiers value this ski resort, the fact is its 60 km ski domain offers options for all. Once there, you will be able to choose from 27 slopes designed for all. 3 green, 4 blue (including a 5km panoramic slope), 17 red and 3 black.

If you are beginning to ski, you will like to know that the domain has an area specially designed for you with 5 tracks, 4 lifts, 2 ski rugs, a snow garden for children, and on the other hand there is also a snowpark and a boardercross, so the most experienced skiers will also be able to find attractions for themselves. The quality of the snow and the friendliness of the ski lift staff.

I liked it, but unfortunately we had bad weather and very few open tracks. In addition, 4 days I went had to close 2 due to adverse weather conditions. The staff of the station has been very friendly and they have behaved very well returning us the money of the ski pass of those two closed days.
