Do you want to discover the Aragonese Pyrenees? One of the best places to discover these magical mountains is the Cerler ski resort, located in the heart of the Benasque Valley, a mecca for Spanish mountaineers and it's surrounded by more than 60 peaks that are over 3,000 metres of altitude, among these, stand out mountains like the Aneto, the Maladeta, the Posets or the Perdiguero, the highest peaks in the Pyrenees. Benasque is also known as the Spanish Chamonix.

Cerler has tracks and ski slopes for all levels: the base is located at 1,500 metres and there is a zone for beginners; The highest point is 2,630m from where you can see some magnificent views that will make you fall in love with Cerler and the rest of the area. The ski resort is divided into two sectors, Cerler and Ampriu. They have black pine landscapes and with different slopes for skiers and snowboarders.

Only 5 km from Benasque, the scenic beauty of the resort will make you feel in heaven. The Cerler ski resort is highly recommended for skiing.

Why ski in Cerler?

This Aragonese resort offers different activities for families and welcomes children with their Enchanted Forest, an interactive tour that runs through a forest of black pine with themed characters that will delight them. They will also find the Snowy Zone which is prepared with activities and skill circuits, during the whole week there is entertainment for children and all the members of the family.

Thus, Cerler is a family friendly resort, thanks to its activities, its 9 green tracks and 18 blue tracks to be able to slide down them and get them to know what skiing feels like. For the more experienced, there are 25 red tracks and 15 black tracks, ideal to overcome new challenges, and discover the entire Cerler ski area.

Another reason to choose this winter resort is that here, you will find the famous 9 km route, the longest skiing run in Spain, with a difference in altitude of 1,100m. The 9 km route starts at 2,360m with the Perdiz Blanca trail (blue track) that takes you to Colladeta, then, it continues turning through Camino de Sarrau (red). You will reach the 2,000 m height where you will have to continue along the Robellóns track (green), crossing the final part called Puntet Skity Area. Next, the route continues along Camino de Les Planes (blue) ending this super long descent on the Les Planes track (blue) which is located at 1,500 metres.

In addition, the Cerler ski resort has 19 lifts available, all modern and well located, with 6 conveyor belts, 4 ski lifts and 9 chairlifts. These are all distributed along the 77 km of tracks, and do not worry if there is not a lot of snow because they have 375 snow cannons to create artificial snow.

What services does Cerler offer?

Cerler has a wide range of restaurants, bars and cafés in each one of its sectors, to satisfy even the most demanding customers. You can find places that will take you back to the 50s or where you can have grilled food or barbecues.

If you travel to this Aragonese resort by car you can park at the Cerler Sector located at a height of 1,500 m, El Molino car park or in the Ampriu Sector car park. To leave your car at these car parks we recommend that you book your space and check the price in advance.

And if your intention is to take skiing or snowboarding lessons, Cerler has 9 ski schools available with more than 300 professionals who will help and advise you regarding your skiing technique.

How to get to Cerler?

There are many alternatives to get to Cerler. You can take a bus, a plane to Lleida or Zaragoza and hire a car, go with your own vehicle... We will explain how to go with your own vehicle and with the White Bus (Bus Blanco).

- By car from Madrid: the recommended route is to go to Huesca using the Zaragoza direction and once in Huesca, follow the Barbastro signs on the A-22 motorway. You will find signs that indicate Cerler and Valle de Benasque. The approximate duration is 5 h and 57 min.

I haven't been back to this station for years and it has improved a lot. They have parties for young people on Saturdays apreski but I also see it as suitable for families and groups of friends.
For beginners, the meeting point of the lessons has to go down a long way, and if you go with people who are just starting out, I see it as dangerous. They would have to walk down with ski boots and with small children it's a mess. And that there would be a bus or bus to get to the ski lift from the car park lot, because you give yourself a good sweat to start the morning

Great, I love that the lifts are long and you disengage (quick) so the time in the lift vs. Time skied is worth it and the slopes are very long and you enjoy them a lot.
I deduct points from the ski lifts section, because of the Cogulla chairlift, it seems to me a chairlift that is too long, for it to continue to be a fixed clamp chairlift to this day, as well as being a link chairlift with the Ampriu ski area, the ascent times in this chairlift are excessive, but otherwise the rest of the lifts great.

The station is highly recommended for advanced skiing, enjoying a lot on almost all slopes and off them, however for novices it becomes a bit more difficult since many blue ones have sections with a similar inclination than the red ones.
The prices of all the restaurants located on the slopes are very expensive.

Some tracks like Gorulla are the best but very short
Some slopes need to be stepped on every day and they don't. In the chicken coop, significant bathtubs are formed in areas where many skiers with very different levels pass through, it is known and it still continues to happen Ice sheets or incidents in the middle of the slopes do not They are properly signposted, as there are no trail runners touring the station, only in the ski lifts. It has too many funnels, that is, very narrow passageways with many people of very different levels, which makes it very dangerous. Very bad signposting of the slopes, if you are not very careful you go outside and with a lack of snow (my case) you go against the stones There are very busy blue slopes that have no escapes for the most novice skiers I have had a great feeling of insecurity and danger for not colliding with other skiers (in fact I suffered a fall to avoid one and hit another) The level of skiing is very low and little road education (many self-taught who occupy the entire slope without leaving room for others or they stop in the middle of the track suddenly causing risks or even accidents)

The quality of the snow was excellent considering that it has barely snowed this year
Food and drink is very expensive

Good and varied tracks. Good snow quality
Horrible accesses. Failure in chairlift and we could not ski. Instead of refunding the amount, they change your ski pass for another day without any other refund option. Regrettable management of Aramon

The chairlift broke and then for the bonus we did not get the insurance for a next holiday because it was reserved for skiing

The Cerler chairlift in the car park lot failed one day and it was chaos to go up to Ampriu, in the end they gave us a one-day ski pass to use for two years

The variety of tracks around.
Some untrodden tracks. They could open more tracks with the snow they had. I think they could have more and better tracks. It's probably an economic issue.

Its slopes... Width... Powder snow when the cannons were working.
The helpers of the trailers, only 1 girl taught me how to put the board in the trailer. I passed 10 times and nobody explained how to do it. (newcomer) the help from the assistants was zero, people fell every time they I went down and they didn't help anything.

Good and beautiful season.
This year, we only have one restaurant option for lunch on the slopes. But in the booking it gave us several options. You should take this into account so that other customers know about it. It's not a big station, but if there is someone who doesn't ski or is a beginner, the inconvenience could be more serious.

Good station for people who already have knowledge about skiing. Tracks with enough level
In my opinion, a station that I would not recommend for beginners, since there are few green slopes.

The snow, better than in Andorra but with a lot of hustle and bustle, bathtubs in narrow/forced steps and some unevenness within the track but forgivable for not having much snow. To go on a weekend there weren't too many queues, the number of people on the slopes in some place did bother

The station quite large. Long and fun slopes, for any level of skier.
To return to the car park lot, there are only two tracks. They are blue. But after 11 they turn black. I recommend going down with a chairlift, also for beginners.

The tracks very well
There is no closed picnic where it is offered, microwave, tables, benches or chairs, in short, a place where you can wait and eat in peace. Restaurant prices are quite expensive

Everything is great
In the ski course for 4-year-olds who were just beginning, I saw him a little daring to start on the 2000-elevation slope as there were a lot of people.
