The snow was very good and there are a lot of tracks for both beginners and more experts.
The first day due to weather conditions the Astún station closed the whole day so we had to go to Candanchu station, and once the ski pass is taken from a track, the rest of the days you have to go to that one, I I would have liked to go to Astún, which is the one I like the most.

I like Candanchu more because of the type of tracks but Astún is also very good. These days the snow quality has been very good. They are small but well maintained stations. The gastronomic offer is also good.

Few people to be during the week. The snow just but perfect
On Tuesday to catch the FF more than an hour in line. There weren't many people, but there was only one box office open until after 10.

There were few people and it was more pleasant and quiet to ski. Many variety of tracks and quite long.
Links between bad sectors. They closed soon. Many hangers that for beginners snowboarders are very complicated.

Few queues in the ski lifts
Badly trodden tracks on April 6. For the day 7 it is fixed (great difference). The perch of Sarrio starts very strong. At the weekend there was no restaurant open upstairs, only the Astun restaurant.

I think Astún Station is better than Candanchú.
The precariousness of ski lifts. Both in Candanchú and Astún. Chairs and trailers. Very old.

The bathrooms are very clean, the amount and condition of the snow with only 5 snowfalls in January is excellent. The bus service is very well thought out. The inclination of the tracks is what I like most about Astun. For 3 years I did not ski in Astun and I was surprised by the number of itineraries.
The parking should be paved. Most ski lifts are old but I do not think it's a negative for the size of the station.

At least for Astún snowboarders it is much more fun, you can find more jumps on the slopes and the snow was much better considering that this year has been a bit strange and it has not snowed too much.
The tracks usually had quite hard snow but it is normal with them few snowfall we have had this year, so will be almost all stations right now.

Candanchú has a spectacular environment. Beautiful sections in the upper area. If you have good level of skiing, I recommend one day Candanchu and another Astún. Excellent track staff and ski lifts.
There is a lack of investment in the stations, if you go with someone who needs equipment rental in Candanchú, think where to rent, in the big building, where the offices and schools are, the material is worthwhile ...

The station is great for families with small children and monitors for 10.
- We already had reserved and paid certain monitors and the school changed them without giving us any explanation. - Every day we had a different monitor, the good thing is that the teachers were very nice and had a lot of patience. - Lack of personnel in the offices of the school, there was only one person attending everything, no wonder that the poor person was saturated: attending to the clients, the calls of the monitors ... - Now I understand why after sending several emails and phone calls throughout the month of February and at different times of the morning, they did not pick up the phone or answer the emails. I think that for the amount of private lessons they could have more staff and give a higher quality service.

- Lack of recycling containers to separate the different types of garbage - Predominance of the current "fast food" at the time of consumption (glasses, disposable containers ...), totally against the philosophy of care of the mountain - That the refund of the FF de Astún in Candanchú and vice versa can not be exchanged

Both stations are spectacular and very varied. It was a great success to unify the ski pass. The lifts of 10
Little snow, lots of rocks, badly organized parking. The pistes were stamped with bad milk, embarrassing the steps and holes in candanchú. I did not see a single pistero in 4 days signaling stones or removing the largest ones in the middle of the track. To tell the truth, I did not see any pistero. The price of the pass seems like a robbery given the care that the tracks had. The last snow was almost a month ago but there was enough snow to treat it better. Candanchú's ticket offices are very, very slow. It is a continuous lack of respect to their customers. Astún something better but also does not get rid of some problems.

They sell a joint pass but the connections between the two stations are nonsense. To the point that on weekends there are fewer services than daily. The information regarding the buses and their frequency is very poor. I think if they can not guarantee a good connection, they should not offer a joint pass.

We liked the Astún tracks more. The guy who took care of us in Las Marmotas to rent the equipment has been an example of professionalism and kindness.
The restaurant La Mullet de Astun has a spectacular meal, but the service is very slow. I had to ask 3 different waiters for some sachets of sauce to accompany and the salad dressing or they took it after ordering it.

In Astun all great. In Candanchu we wait for a line of 2h to take the ski pass when we had already bought it by Esquiades. A worker at the station, after explaining that we already had the ski pass bought with Esquiades, told us to get in line and after 2 hours of waiting (from 9:15 to 11:15) we came to the window and they told us that there They can give us the pass. We had to have gone to another place where there was no line and they gave it directly to us. A shame. The organization of the LAMENTABLE ticket office area.

I have been alone in Candanchú. The slopes have a spectacular landscape and the snow despite the complexity of the season was acceptable. One of the main advantages is that during the week there are no queues on any chairlift.
The signposting of the tracks is poor, the tracks have some old infrastructures and the staff gives a little the impression of being overwhelmed. The sticks that separate the tracks are a danger and are not worth anything without a net, especially posts after a plate of ice without signaling, I still have the purple on the chest of one of the sticks. I doubt I'll repeat at this station.

The chairlifts are very old and with few seats, so they are slow. On weekends it takes more than an hour to get to the station and the parking lot is too small, in addition to Astun's, it is still necessary to rent it; at least tarmac

If chairs are enabled everything is fabulous. Many tracks for all levels. Stunning landscape. Rescue services very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately for us, we knew the good treatment of nursing.
We had a great storm and we did not feel any collaboration to get out of there. They cut routes and save who can. Nobody from the center showed interest in helping. We went down three kilometers skiing on the road, almost without visibility. We were rescued by an individual. If the chairs do not open, skiing in Candanchu is absurd.
