Vallnord Pal Arinsal ski resort
The Vallnord Pal Arinsal ski resort has amazing sorroundings, and the access to the resort is located at an altitude of 1,550 metres (lowest point). Both sectors have their own features, that are the following:
The ski resort has 7 green slopes and 15 blue slopes for beginners. It also has 16 red slopes for people who love steep slopes and like to go as fast as possible. Furthermore, the resort also counts with 4 black ski slopes, ideal for experienced skiers. There are a total of 30 chairlifts that take visitors up to 2,560 metres of altitude, and then it is possible to enjoy skiing back down to the start of the ski slopes.
In Vallnord Pal Arinsal you will be able to find different services right inside the domain, such as bars and cafeterias, where it is possible to take a break, or have something to eat at one of the different restaurants. Inside the resort there are available 2 skiing and snowboarding schools with more than 200 qualified instructors. If you are going to ski with children, you can leave them at the snow gardens that are located in the main areas of the resort, where children can learn while they play with the snow. In any case, Esquiades.com recommends many alternatives and outdoor activities in Vallnord Pal Arinsal in order to make the most of your holidays.

Both sectors inside the Vallnord Pal Arinsal ski resort are connected by chairlifts and slopes.
Pal sector
Pal is the nearest sector to the capital of the country, Andorra la Vella. The Pal sector can be accessed by car or by using the cable-car located in La Massana, which will take you directly from the village to the ski slopes. Some hotels and apartments allow skiers to access the cable-car with your skiing boots on.
This ski resort has become the ideal place for families. The ski slopes are located in an area full of trees, that offers to ski in a beautiful area. In Pal there is the Pekepark, a snow garden where children can learn to ski while having lots of fun. Through Esquiades.com it is also possible to book ski lessons. All the instructors that work at the Pal ski resort are qualified to be able to teach skiing and snowboarding for children and adults.
The low mountain gradient of the slopes inside this ski resort are easy and intermediate level, and makes it a good option for beginners. It has special chairlifts for beginners and the slopes have a good difficulty progression, so it is possible to improve your level step by step and access steeper slopes at the end of the day.
Finally, note that at the Pal ski resort it is also possible to practice a variety of outdoor activities, such as hiking, booking snow jet skis, snowshoeing and mushing (sleigh pulled by dogs).
Arinsal sector
The Arinsal ski resort is located 5 kilometres from the village that has the same name. Access to the slopes can be done in your own car, by bus, taking the cable-car in La Massana and skiing to the Arinsal slopes or with the cable-car that is in the centre of the Arinsal village. This ski resort has one of the largest slopes in Andorra, with more than 1,000 metres of altitude difference between the top and bottom of the slope "Les Mirrades". It is also good to know that this slope also reaches Arinsal and can be accessed directly from some of the hotels located next to it.
Arinsal features slopes for skiers with a low, medium and high level, and especially for freeriders. Ski lovers will find the most steep slopes near the ski slope called "La Capa". It also has the Arinsal Snowpark with modules for all levels, even for those who are starting to practice this type of snowboarding and skiing.
In conclusion, the two sectors together form a complete tandem for everyone. Pal offers skiers the possibility to travel with their family and a place to enjoy skiing with children, and Arinsal offers more difficult slopes for more advanced skiers, and also gives the possibility to practice and improve tricks and skills.

How to get to Vallnord Pal Arinsal?
The Vallnord Pal Arinsal ski resort is located in the Northwest of Andorra, in La Massana.
The most convenient access is by road or by using the cable-car that links La Massana with the ski slopes. You can also access by road from the border between Andorra and Spain. For this, you have to follow the CG-1 (General Highway 1) to the capital, Andorra la Vella. At the height of Unió Street, turn left and go straight to CG-3 (General Highway 3) to La Massana, where you should follow the signs that take you to the CG-4 (Main Road 4). At the end of the road, when you pass Pal, you are at the ski area, from where can access the slopes. Remember that you can also stay in La Massana and take the cable-car to access Pal. In addition, as it is connected to Arinsal, you can access both ski resorts from the same place.
If you want to know how to get to the Arinsal ski resort, we inform you that you must follow the same route to get to Pal from Erts. From there, you must pass the CG-4 (General Highway 4) to CG-5 (General Road 5) and the last 5 kilometres from Arinsal you will find the ski resort with the same name.

Pistas en buen estado para ser ultimo dia de temporada
Personal de cafetería nos echaron de la mesa por sacar unos bocatas aun habiendo comprado la bebida en su establecimiento (6€ por dos refrescos de lata).

El telecabina que comunica Hotel Font con pistas, excelente EXCEPTO: Escaleras mecánicas de planta 0 a planta 1, pero inexistentes de planta 1 a planta 2...Lo cual no tiene sentido y es muy incómodo subir escaleras a pie con botas de esquí...
En cuanto a las telecabinas con publicidad de una conocida cadena de hamburguesas, me parece mal, pero todavía peor QUE TAPEN LA VISTA DE LAS VENTANAS DEL TELECAVINA.
Por último, he echado en falta taquillas a pie de pista de poner moneda que luego te devuelve, o en todo caso, si son de pago, con 1€ sería suficiente. Cobrar más me parece excesivo.

Me ha gustado. Me gusta el entorno, las pistas son bonitas entre arbolado. Se accede muy bien.
No me ha gustado mucho la calidad de la nieve, pero tampoco se pueden esperar milagros ya que a la altura de temporada en la que estábamos es lo que hay.

Buenas pistas para esquiar
La zona picnic cubierta estaba cerrada y no nos dejaron comer en el comedor de la cafetería, aunque estábamos consumiendo bebidas de ahí, y además estaba casi vacío.

En general, todo muy bien.
En algunas tramos de pistas faltan, señalizar y sobre todo proteger los lados (bordes), un despiste puede ser brutal para la salud. Había unos casos con novatos, a punto de chocarse contra la roca y los árboles.

Remontée à la télécabine pas très pratique surtout à la fin de la journée avec des enfants qui sont fatigués.
Il serait bien de mettre en place un tapis roulant qui nous remonterai jusqu'à l'entrée du télécabine

La estación en general, muy familiar y divertida
Algún telearrastre cerrado sin motivo aparente y parece que conforme se llega a final de temporada, las pistas no se trabajan igual. En mi opinión hay que trabajar las pistas desde el 1er dia de apertura al último ya que para eso pagamos. Clases particulares para niño/a excesivamente caras. A parte que no se empiezan en punto y sin embargo, si se terminan en punto. Como mucho se hacen 50 min y para lo que cobran, se debería respetar como mínimo, el horario, que es de una hora de clase

Perfecta para una estancia de fin de semana.. La puedes recorrer de arriba a abajo varias veces y irte de excursion a arinsal-pal en teleferico...
La nieve no aguanta en buenas condiciones si el sol aprieta en marzo... Aun asi 100% abierto!

La nieve estaba muy dura por la mañana y al cabo ede unas horas estaba demasiado picada por toda la gente que habia pasado por allí. Algunos remontadores te dan un buen golpe antes de que te sientes.

Ya conocemos la estación y la hemos escogido precisamente por sus pistas "sencillas" ya que parte de la familia son esquiadores principiantes e intermedios. También por que la estación acostumbra a tener buenas condiciones meteorológicas. Lo buenos es que la pista negra que hay, no hay casi nadie nunca y se puede bajar varias veces al día. NO hay colas en los remontes y a pesar del calor pueden mantener abierto el 100% del dominio. Eso si, si cierran la pista negra de la comellada y alguna roja mas, para un esquiador avanzado es una estación muy aburrida por las pistas. Arinsal estaba mal de nieve también, aparte de ser un paisaje mucho mas feo que PAL. En general, para el viaje que hicimos, 8 personas con diferentes niveles, lo hemos pasado muy bien.

Es un amor estación pequeña, pero es perfecta para viajar con niños.
Que tengan cabida en la estación las bicicletas, suponen un gran peligro para los niños, se debiera demilitar zonas exclusivas para ellas.

La estación de Pal-Arinsal tiene un personal excelente y super atento en todos los aspectos.Siempre voy en verano y me encanta ir con los niños porque tiene muchas cosas para que disfruten pero pienso que en invierno también está muy adaptada.
Respecto al precio del forfait esta bien,la comida es variada y los espacios son amplios.
Que podian haber alargado más la tarde ya que hace muy bien tiempo
The Pal-Arinsal station has an excellent staff and super attentive in all aspects. I always go in summer and I love to go with the children because it has many things to enjoy but I think that in winter it is also very adapted. Siempre hemos disfrutado mucho en Pal. Una estación, no muy grande, pero completa, familiar y no muy abarrotada
Otros años genial. Este año, supongo que debido al calor anormal, la nieve no estaba en muy buenas condiciones, muy suelta y muy amontonada, provocando muchas lesiones. Quizá algunas pistas tendrian que haberse arreglado más o incluso cerrado

En general, todo bien. Buen mantenimiento de pistas pese a la poca nieve caída las últimas semanas.
Únicamente, que cierran la pista de bajada a los hoteles un poco antes de la hora de cierre de pistas y hay que bajar en el telesillas.

Me robaron los palos de esquí y a mi compañera de viaje, el día anterior.
