As you probably know, Masella is an alpine ski resort located between the municipalities of Das and Alp and on the northern slope of the Tosa, south of the region of Cerdanya. Inaugurated in 1967, in one of the closest ski resorts to the city of Barcelona, which partly explains its large influx. In it, 74 km of skiing await you, spread over 64 tracks of all levels: 9 green, 24 blue, 22 red and 9 black tracks.

Anyway, the advantages of skiing in Masella do not end here: together with the La Molina resort, it integrates the Alp 2500 ski domain. Both add a total of 141 km of ski slopes with a slope of more than 900m, which they extend from the Coma Oriola de Masella, in Cerdanya, to Pla d'Anyella, in the region of Ripollès. Therefore, when booking a single ski pass, you can glide through the forests of both seasons and enjoy incomparable views of the Cerdanya Valley, the largest of the Catalan Pyrenees.

One of the advantages of skiing in Masella at Christmas is that it is a family ski resort, ideal for those who are considering traveling with children in the snow. If you also want to share this important day with the kids, do not miss the area of La Pleta, perfect for living skiing or snowboarding as a family. A good proposal to share with your family is to descend the blue slopes, which offer a great tour in the middle of the forest, and which you can access in a detachable chair lift.

In La Pleta, you also have a red slalom track and a snowpark with bigjumps, drawers, railings, rainbows or a huge one to get the most out of your snowboard. And so you can regain strength after giving everything, here you also have a picnic area in which to recharge the batteries.

And one last note: for some years, the Masella is one of the few points in the Pyrenees where you can practice night skiing.
