In the ski resort of Les Deux Alpes you can enjoy the snow even in summer!It is the largest glacier in the French Alps.

How can I get to the glacier for skiing?

The glaciers of the Girose and Mont de Lans, at the high altitude of the resort, make it a ski resort in both summer and winter.

To get to the glacier you will need your ski pass, which will be given to you directly at the resort's ticket office upon presentation of your confirmation voucher. Once you pick it up you can go to the funicular Le Jandri Express and from here you will arrive in a matter of minutes to the glacier of Les 2 Alpes.

During the summer season, the resort offers you around20 skiable kilometers. Depending on the degree of difficulty of the slopes, you will find blue and red runs, as well as several snowparks adapted to the level of each skier or snowboarder.

In addition, it is also important to keep in mind that the resort's schedule in summer,so you will have to make sure to get up early every day to enjoy the snow in the best conditions:

- from May 2 to May 26, 2023: from 7:30 a.m. to 114:30h

- from May 27 to June 30, 2023: from 7:00 a.m. to 114:30h

Does the ski pass include any other activity besides skiing?

Of course it does!

In addition to the hotel and ski pass, the 2 Alps packages from 2 to 5 days ski pass include the following summer activities:

3 descents on the Tobogan Luge.

And from 6 days at Les Deux Alpes Glacier include:

6 descents on the Tobogan Luge.
1 golf practice session (equipment included).
1 day of mountain biking in the following resorts: 2 Alpes, Alpe d'Huez, Serre Chevalier, Puy St. Vicent and Montgenèvre (equipment not included, you can rent it directly on arrival or bring your own equipment). Offer subject to confirmation from the resorts in the "Galaxie" area.

Are there discounts for children?

For the summer season, from May 2, 2023 to June 30, 2023 inclusive, you can book your stay with the available children's discounts.

What is the best way to get to Les 2 Alpes?

- By plane:

Les 2 Alpes has several nearby airports including Lyon, Geneva, Chambéry and Grenoble. The closest one to access the resort is Grenoble, which is only 1 hour away from the destination.

Once you land at the above airports, you can hire a transfer or rental car to get to the station of Les 2 Alpes.

- By car:

If you want to enjoy the spectacular alpine scenery in summer, our recommendation is to travel by car. Les 2 Alpes resort is only 1 hour from Grenoble, 3 hours from Turin, 4 hours from Montpellier and 7 hours and a half from Paris.
