Les Sybelles ski resort is located in the French Alps and not many people know it, why? That's because it's fairly new. The name of the resort stems from the French "Les six belles" (the six beauties), referring to the 6 ski areas that form this resort.

Did you know that it is part of one of the largest interconnected ski areas? It is the largest ski area in Maurienne and the fourth largest in France.

Its ski area is perfectly suitable for beginners and families, this ski resort has been designed to accommodate any type of skier.

Why ski in Toussuire & Bottières ski area?

At 1,800 m altitude you'll find La Toussuire, the highest ski area in Les Sybelles ski resort. It is completely dedicated to sports and families. Located on a large plateau, La Toussuire offers plenty of sunshine and breathtaking views of the Aiguilles d’Arves.

This ski area is created in the style of Le Corbier (a ski area you can access by a slope and a ski lift), larger than the latter with somewhat smaller apartment blocks built in Haute Savoie styles.

It is the largest ski area in the Les Sybelles domain, it has two different areas; La Balme with 750 m of unevenness with easy slopes and Les Perrons with more than 1000 m of unevenness, with the best slopes for experienced skiers.

In addition, the famous alpine skier and Olympic ski champion Jean-Pierre Vidal is originally from La Toussuire, where he still lives. Who knows, you might see him on the slopes!

On the other hand, the Bottières ski area is a paradise for family ski holidays. It is an authentic mountain village and a true oasis to relax; in the centre you will find 6 ski slopes for beginners that are connected to the large areas of Les Sybelles through the La Toussuire area.

The La Toussuire / Les Bottières ski area has 55 km of slopes, connected by twenty modern ski lifts at an altitude of between 1,300 and 2,225 m.
