Together with Val d'Isère they make up a very large ski area. It never ends. Very good quality of services and facilities. The slopes are very wide and safe and the snow is spectacular. High-capacity chairlifts avoid large crowds.

It is not a resort for beginners. I have always skied in Andorra and there I have skied reds and even some easy blacks, like those at the viewing point. In Tignes, the three reds I went down almost made me faint. The green ones are blue, the blue ones are red and so on. Except at the base of the resort, which does have green runs for beginners. What I liked most was the quality of the snow, as it had snowed all the previous week and it was incredible.
