Week Ski Holidays AX 3 Domaines

Thinking about a trip to the snow in the central Pyrenees (France) at a good price and with all the comforts you deserve? If so, we invite you to enjoy a week of skiing at Ax 3 Domaines. Ax 3 Domaines, formerly known as Ax-Bonascre, was inaugurated in December 1955 and is located in the department of Ariège, just 8 km from Ax-les-Thermes, a town famous for being a popular thermal tourism destination.

The resort, located between 1,400 m and 2,300 m altitude, has 80 km of skiing spread over 36 alpine ski slopes of all difficulty levels: 9 green, 10 blue, 11 red and 6 black. Access to them is done by 20 mechanical lifts: 9 ski lifts, 8 ski lifts, 2 cable cars and a carpet. To ensure that the slopes are always in perfect condition, the resort has 285 snow cannons.

There is also a snowpark, snowcross and freeride areas , 2 restaurants and 2 ski schools where you can start in winter sports with all the guarantees. And if you are going to go skiing with children, you will love knowing that you have a nursery, a snow garden and a luge space . Ideal for your week of skiing in Ax 3 Domaines as a family!

As the name implies, Ax 3 Domaines is divided into three zones: that of Bonascre, which is the one at the lowest level; that of Saquet , at an intermediate altitude, and that of Campels, which is the one with the highest altitude. In the area of Bonsacre, the longest tracks of the resort are located , as well as the oldest ones; in the one of Saquet, the top of the Tute de l'Ours (2,305 m) and the Natural Forest Park are deployed , while in Campels you will find the less frequented area.

As for après-ski, You have the possibility to do snowshoeing, paragliding, participate in an igloo construction activity or even go to the cinema or casino.
