The Astún ski resort is preparing the installation of a new ski lift in the area called Prado Blanco. It is aimed at beginner skiers, and has been commissioned to the French company IDM, which distributes the AXET brand in southern Europe.
The Junta de Andalucía is considering the proposal of the businessmen to extend the ski season in Sierra Nevada until May. The Councilor of Development, Rocío Díaz, has indicated that they are analyzing this option and will make decisions week by week depending on the snow conditions and the state of the slopes.
