Vallter 2000 is located in a circle of glacial origin (Morens circle - Ull de Ter), in the easternmost area of the Pyrenees (Girona), in the Ripollès region and within the municipality of Setcases. It is a welcoming and familiar resort, with almost 35 years of activity as a ski slope.
Surrounded by peaks (some of them exceed 2,800 m), the base of the resort is located at an altitude of 2,000 m above the Ter river valley. Its privileged geographical situation allows contemplating a unique and exceptional panorama. From an altitude of 2,535 m, you can see the Bay of Roses and Cap de Creus (Costa Brava).
This situation makes it an ideal place to practice outdoor mountain sports: mountain skiing, snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, snow fields, nivology workshops, alpine skiing, snowboarding, freeride, sledding or tubby descent.
