If you are passionate about the Catalan Pyrenees and the Aragonese Pyrenees, skiing at the Luz-Ardiden ski resort is a good option to go to too. Located in the North part of the Ardiden massif, in the Midi-Pyrénées region of France, in the heart of Toy and just 12 km from Luz-Saint-Sauveur, this ski resort is ideal ski and snow lovers.

Inaugurated in 1975, Luz-Ardiden extends over 110 hectares and three hillsides where it's possible to enjoy winter sports: Aulian, Béderet and Cloze, located between 1,680 m and 2,500 m of altitude. To all these attractions you should add the Bernazaou freeride track, with a drop of 1,250 metres.

Although expert skiers value this ski resort, the fact is its 60 km ski domain offers options for all. Once there, you will be able to choose from 27 slopes designed for all. 3 green, 4 blue (including a 5km panoramic slope), 17 red and 3 black.

If you are beginning to ski, you will like to know that the domain has an area specially designed for you with 5 tracks, 4 lifts, 2 ski rugs, a snow garden for children,  and on the other hand there is also a snowpark and a boardercross, so the most experienced skiers will also be able to find attractions for themselves. Other features are a slalom stadium, a sledging area and a 5 km trail to enjoy a nice walk using snowshoes.

The Luz-Ardiden ski resort counts with 12 ski lifts - including 6 chairlifts, 3 rugs, 2 ski lifts and a telescope - and 120 snow cannons, which will guarantee an unbeatable experience at any time during the ski season. With our Luz-Ardiden ski deals, you also have in your hands a wide range of additional services that will make your stay even more comfortable: free buses between the village and the ski resort during the winter season, car park spaces and daycare - for children from 18 months to 5 years old - at the foot of slopes, a ski school, ski storage to leave your equipment, the resting area of Le Cluquet and two restaurants.

During après-ski, you can take advantage of your ski week to discover Luz-Saint-Sauveur, it's an incredible village with a very nice atmosphere, or other nearby mountain villages, with a wide range of restaurants, a nightclub, the spa Luzéa and other places to have fun with your friends or family.

The quality of the snow and the friendliness of the ski lift staff.
The management of the information of the slopes and the snow report to the user. It takes a long time to upload it and they do not specify almost anything about whether they are going to open the station or not until you are already there. The website and the station application, although functional, do not publish the information in advance and always very general and with few details.

I cannot understand that in a ski resort where SPORTS is practiced, you cannot buy ANYTHING other than a croissant and bag potatoes outside the very short lunch time of 12-14h. I don't know, a ham and cheese sandwich even ...

I liked it, but unfortunately we had bad weather and very few open tracks. In addition, 4 days I went had to close 2 due to adverse weather conditions. The staff of the station has been very friendly and they have behaved very well returning us the money of the ski pass of those two closed days.
