The Tristania gondola moves at a good pace in Ordino-Arcalís

The works of the new gondola lift will modify the base of the resort of Ordino Arcalís to L'Hortell, these works imply a modification of the exit of the ski lift 1 and the reform of the route of arrival of the El Pont slope. Also, the Pla de l'Hortell will be much wider , thanks to this access to the ski lifts will be more comfortable and the area will be much safer.

And Arcalís not only will place a new gondola lift, but also the water pipe network of the snow cannons that it has on the Les Canals slope will be renewed . And 8 new mobile snow cannons will be placed. In addition, during the summer period the maintenance of the lifts is carried out, and small renovations are carried out in the buildings of the resort.

If there is no unforeseen event , the new lift is expected to begin operating the first week of December , for the Constitution Bridge. Although if the works are completed long before the opening could be advanced. Also, the ski lift 1 will rise approximately 5 meters which will make the boot much smoother and will not be so boxed.

Modifications have also been made to the La Basera, L'Hortell and El Pont tracks , in order to minimize the risk of a collision between the Pont and La Basera tracks, the slopes have been widened at this point, generating more space and greater safety. In addition, thanks to this widening, skiers can easily access the chairlifts of L'Abarsetar and La Basera, or the cable car.

As for the renewal of the water network for the snow cannons, more than 1,000 meters of pipes will be changed on the Les Canals runway; and with the 8 new snow cannons a slope will be inhibited in 48 hours of cold. In addition, these guns will be mobile and can be adapted to the needs of the resort.

All these developments and renewals of the Ordino Arcalis Strategic Plan represent an investment of more than 7 million euros .
