The resort of the Cerdanya returns to advance once again to the rest of winter resorts of the Pyrenees, and opens this Friday, November 10. It is the second start of the earliest season in the history of Masella in relation to the last 10 seasons, and overlaps with nothing less than its 50th anniversary. The keys of this premature opening are, mainly, the abundant snowfalls of the last days and the low temperatures, that also have allowed to produce artificial snow at full speed. In fact, Masella already presents a winter landscape worthy of a postcard.
Today the track and the chair lift of Coma Oriola are opened, starting at 12:00, and over the next few days the rest of the tracks and lifts will open, according to the resort. In addition, Masella will remain open uninterrupted until snow conditions permit. With this early opening, Masella offers the longest ski season in the Pyrenees, with more than 5 months of skiing.
