1 Spring skiing with advantages in Baqueira Beret

If the weather conditions accompany, this weekend of March 9 and 10, Baqueira Beret plans to open to the public all the routes with its 111 tracks, which translate into 160 skiable kilometres. Snow thicknesses are currently between 125 to 205 cm. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy 6 green initiation tracks, 43 blue, 45 red and 17 black for the most expert. 36 ski lifts will be in operation: 1 cable car, 19 chairlifts, 7 conveyor belts and 9 ski lifts.

In a few weeks the astronomical spring will reach the calendars so, after a magnificent winter with good snow and a month of February with exceptional weather, the Val d'Aran and Valls d'Àneu station prepares to offer a spring with its usual quality in service and activities with exceptional advantages. Thus, Baqueira Beret presents a wide range of advantages in accommodation, ski pass, equipment rental, restaurants ... to bring the valley to the thousands of visitors who want to live a height experience at the best price.

March 8-10 - XXII Jesús Serra Foundation Trophy

Next weekend, the Aranese station will be the scene of the 12th Jesús Serra Foundation Trophy, a competition that aims to unite the world of sport with that of training through skiing, an activity that Jesus Serra Santamans was closely linked to , founder of Grupo Catalana Occidente, not only as a promoter of the Baqueira Beret ski resort, but also as a practitioner and passionate about this sport throughout his life.
The event has scholarships for the best and raffle gifts among all registered.

March 9 and 10 - Spanish Snow Mushing Championship

On March 9 and 10, the Spanish Snow Mushing Championship (dog sled) of the Royal Spanish Winter Sports Federation and organized by Gos Artic will be held in Baqueira Beret. In this edition the more than 150 registered mushers and their dogs will compete for the Spanish Champion prize in the different categories in the Pla de Beret.
