3,100 skiers inaugurate Masella

Skiing on November 1 ? This year, thanks to the snowfalls a few days ago, they allowed the Masella ski resort to open its doors like any day in February.

The station launched its ski lifts at 9:15 am and a total of 3,100 skiers passed through the facilities throughout the day to enjoy the first descents, a figure that has exceeded the expectations of those responsible for Masella .

For the first day of skiing , 13 km of slopes and the ski lifts of the two bases located at Pla de Masella-1600 and Coma Oriola-1900 were opened . This Thursday the connection with La Molina by La Pia was ready, although the sector is currently not open. Also, the track operator has continued to work intensely in the preparation of the rest of the sectors and today the Alp 2500 connection is opened by the Tosa and the total of the ski slope of Masella .

As for the slopes, the forecast is to open 50% of the ski area , specifically, 34 km of ski areas spread over the sectors already opened on Thursday and what is added today: Tosa, Coma Pregona, Isards, Dues Estacions and La Pleta.

Finally, as regards the weather, it is expected that the sun , good visibility and powder snow with thicknesses of 20 to 105 cm will be maintained at high levels.
