It is about 300 m from the Chamonix golf course, while the Aiguille du Midi cable car (the highest in Europe) and the Mer de Glace / Montenvers train are 1 km away. The nearest airport is Geneva International, 1 hour by car (about 90 km). Other nearby airports are Lyon-Saint-Exupéry (about 150 km), Marseille Provence (about 315 km), Megève (about 60 km) and the international Riviera (approximately 250 km). Built in 1900 and renovated in 2010, the ski hotel offers 19 bedrooms and counts among the liveliest places in Chamonix. Guests are welcomed in the lobby with a newspaper stand. There is a large terrace for al fresco dining in summer, a lounge bar with 3 screens so guests can follow news, major sporting events or listen to music, an elevator and a room to dry ski and hiking clothes. Additional facilities include a games room, conference facilities and a car park. All rooms offer magnificent views of the mountains and some have balconies or terraces. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, bath, free toiletries and a hairdryer.
