About the accommodation
The Nu Hotel project arose from informal discussions between Massimo Gao, a Chinese businessman, and Milanese architects Nisi Magnoni and Sabrina Gallini. His goal was to create an art hotel. They imagined a new unconventional building, whose architectural features, from the plans of the room, the distribution of common areas, to the choice of materials used, which merge into a single environment. The design came to life with an existing building on Via Feltre. Apart from its exterior walls, the rest of the building was renovated. Five floors were built, including the terrace, designed to house the NU Restaurant, with 38 rooms, a meeting room, a lounge bar and a balcony overlooking the lobby.
