Located in the French Alps, the ski resort of Serre Chevalier is located on the slopes of the most beautiful peaks of the Ecrins National Park. An environment where the air is completely pure. In addition, the climate of the region is influenced by the Mediterranean climate and the mountain climate.

The Serre Chevalier valley has a vast heritage, thanks to the legacy of the many generations that have inhabited these lands. Without going any further, you will be able to see the Romanesque-Lombard bell-tower of the 16th century, scattered throughout the localities of the valley. A total of 13 villages form this incredible mountainous landscape.

Its slopes are populated by forests of incredible ancient larches and a great variety of pines. The ski area, 251 km long, has endless undulating valleys and very wide slopes that offer amazing and varied descents.

Why ski in Serre Chevalier?

The French station offers a total of 82 tracks for all levels and many activities that go far beyond alpine skiing and snowboarding. If you go as a family, you can discover the forests with cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or a dog sled.

If you want to get into a world of skiing or snow, you have 12 ski schools with more than 100 teachers ready to help you with everything you need. For your first descents, you have 13 green tracks, and when you have lost your fear and have more security on skis or snowboard, we recommend you go down the 26 blue tracks, very wide and exciting.

On the other hand, if you are a more experienced paddler, Serre Chevalier offers you 30 red and 13 blue tracks, where you can save more than 2,000 meters of altitude in a single day of skiing. Dare to overcome new challenges!

What services does Serre Chevalier offer?

Try the new activity Deva'l Bob, ideal to do it with friends or family. It is a descent in sled of more than 4 km and with 573 m of vertical fall. Another novelty are the mountain karts, a different sensation and full of great adrenaline to live with your friends.

A totally different activity is the Snooc, perfect for skiing and hiking, as well as a unique feeling to enjoy the pleasure of skiing. Or if you prefer, climb a frozen waterfall, a mountaineering activity in which you can climb the walls and alpine ramps.
