The Principality of Andorra is located in the Pyrenees between Spain and France. With an area of 468 km2 and an average elevation of 1,996 metres above sea level.

The South borders with Spain, with the Catalan regions of Cerdagne, Alt Urgell and Pallars Sobira, whereas in the North there is France, specifically the Ariège region. Andorra is formed of seven parishes (Canillo, Encamp, Ordino, La Massana, Andorra la Vella, Sant Julia de Loria and Escaldes-Engordany).

Andorra is a mountain country, with 65 peaks spread over 2,500 meters of height. The highest mountain peak is Comapedrosa with an altitude of 2942 metres. It is a region of rugged mountain peaks and narrow valleys through which they flow numerous streams of water which form the three main rivers: Valira North River (Valira del Norte), Valira East River (Valira de Oriente) and Gran Valira river. In 2004, The Madriu - Perafita Valley - Claror was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

Andorra has a Mediterranean climate, where temperatures are cold in winter and mild summer. There are variations in climate depending on altitude and orientation. The Principality has a high percentage of sunny days and the weather is dry. Mean annual minimum is -11 ° C and the maximum is 24 ° C. It is in the evening when there are more rainfall in winter but they are especially snow.

The alpine ski resorts of Grandvalira and Vallnord along with Caldea Spa Centre are the most visited natural attractions of Andorra.

PALAU DE GEL

Palau de Gel (Ice Palace) is located in El Canillo parish and it is the ideal place to visit with family and friends and to have a great time all together.

There is a Sport's Area where you will find the ice skating rink, swimming pool, tenis court, karting circuit, curling rink, etc.

In the Fitness Area there is a gym, tanning salon, sauna, massage parlour, and you can also practice spinning, pilates, hip hop dance, cardio, etc.

There is a Kiddies Area where there is a playground called “Fresquiland” and rooms for celebrating children's birthday parties.

You will also find a bar- restaurant and café, cinema, theatre and a boutique to buy sport's wear.

CALDEA SPA CENTRE

In Ecaldes-Engordany, one of the 7 pariches in Andorra, there's the biggest spa centre in Europa: Caldea. The thermal waters in this centre make the most of the natural richness of the local water. Caldea is one of the main tourist attractions in Andorra.

Caldea was designed by the French architect Jean-Michel Ruols. Also the creator of the Asterix Park, he is a specialist in water architecture and a great master in designing big solid constructions.

Here they use the properties and benefits of this water to relax, recharge and feel well. The different temperatures help tone the body and helps balance your psyche.

Let yourself unwind and let the properties of this water do its job. You will leave feeling completely new. These properties also heal, clear and help you with allergies.

NATURLANDIA

Naturlandia is in the Rabassa Ski Resort (a cross-country ski resort in Sant Julià de Lóira). Here you can take part in different activities and adventure sports both in Winter and Summer.

The main ride is Tobotronc, a 6-kilometre long ride that takes you through the woods. Other activities available are: Airtrekk, Golf, Ponies, Paintball, Archery, BTT routes, Quads and more.

We highly recommend to visit the park with family and friends. There are also 2 restaurants to have something to eat.

VALLNORD

During the summer season Vallnord is a leisure centre for families and friends. It is the perfect spot to spend a weekend taking part in different activities in the fresh air and surrounded by incredible views.

Here you will find the Vallnord Mountain Park where children can have fun in the “Pekepark” (Kiddies Park), an area where there are inflatable castles, trampolines and more so they can jump, climb and slide down all the rides under the supervision of certified guides.

Adults can also do adeventure activities such as archery, zip-line, karting or go on a mouantain bike ride (downhill).
