Ski resort Grindelwald - Wengen:

Skislopes: 103 km of slopes for all levels and ages.
Number of lifts: 21 (and that includes rail service, cable cars and chairlifts).
Altitude: 1,034 mts - 2,227 mts.

Where can beginners ski in Grindelwald Wengen?

  • Männichen ski area
The beginner ski area here is designed for children and is called Männlichen Children's Paradise. Here there is a magic carpet and two "Pinocchio" lifts where children who have skied before can gain some confidence before hitting the slopes.
  • Kleine Scheidegg ski area
This area is more suitable for adults or teenagers who have never skied before.
There is also a ski area for beginners in Wengen village center and another in Grindelwald:
? The one in Wengen is called Figeler and is probably the best ski area for beginners as it has different levels: there is a children's area, a small flat run ideal for adults and teenagers and there is also a steeper run that is ideal for practicing before sliding down longer runs.
? The one in Grindelwald is called Bodmi Arena and is perfect for beginners who have never skied before as the terrain is quite flat. Be aware that there is not always enough snow in this area and, as it is in town, it tends to be quite crowded.

What is it like to ski in Mürren?

It is a very original resort where one of the James Bond movies was filmed and there is a recreation of it. It is also one of the slopes that has one of the best landscapes of the Swiss Alps, it is ideal for intermediate skiers looking for long runs and without difficulties. It is perfect to enjoy a quiet skiing. In addition its village is one of the most beautiful, its charm is that no cars can circulate.

This station offers the advantage of having gondolas very close to the hotels, and also has a Skibus available. So you can avoid going by car, it is very convenient and practical to go down from the hotel and walk to the gondola that leaves from the east of the village.

Another great experience with esquiades.com The whole experience is so easy, their website is great and bookings is done in minutes. Their prices is lower than anyone else including the hotels themselves, same goes for skipass, ski rental, insurance. It feels so nice knowing that the company you buy from deliver in every area. Once your booking is done, everything is in the app, no need to print out anything (as a ng as your phone is charged)

Company trying to deceive people! One a week ago I checked the prices for an accommodation. This week, with the "Black Friday sale" they announce 30% off for the exact same accommodation. The prices are up by more than 20€ per person than they were before the sale. This is an illegal practice.

Group of 22 for a ski weeknd
