It is a combination of two ski resorts, Arosa and Lenderheide, which merged in 2004 to form the largest ski resort in the canton of the Swiss Greeks.

It is located near the town of Chur in the canton of Graubünden and is famous for its alpine scenery and skiing conditions.

Why should you ski in Arosa Lenderheide?

With the ski pass that we will provide you, you can ski in the two ski areas, which have more than 225km of slopes distributed in 68 blue runs, 34 red runs and 11 black runs (you read that right, this resort has no green runs) and 50 lifts.

Most of the resort can be explored via chairlifts and ski lifts (80%) and the rest are off-piste itineraries, so you can enjoy the incredible powder snow of this ski area and enjoy the contrast of both valleys.

According to the reviews, this snow destination has become one of the best ski resorts in the world thanks to its altitude, which is between 17,800 and 2,653 m above sea level, with high contrast slopes and a state-of-the-art artificial snowmaking infrastructure.

The longest descent is 4.5 km and some of the slopes offer speed measurement, public race tracks in which you can participate with friends, the meters of altitude climbed, the total kilometers of descent and once a month, night skiing, a blast!

In addition, events such as "The Enchanted Forest of Lenzerheide" or the Arosa humor festival are held.

It is also described as one of the best places to taste exquisite mountain food, with more than 50 restaurants located throughout the ski area.

Sled tracks: The resort has 11 outdoor and 1 indoor sled tracks, some with more than 31 curves and 3 km long, dare to try it!

Visit the Bear Sanctuary in Arosa: You will enjoy the sight of brown bears in their natural habitat.

Ice skating: A total of 6 ice skating rinks to show your artistic skills.

Snowshoeing: More than 8 routes to cross the forest with snowshoes, you will enjoy a breathtaking view, it will seem that you are on the roof of the world.

Kinderland Maran: Your child will join different groups to get started in the world of skiing and have their first experience in the snow. It has a conveyor belt and is located in a very sunny area. You can only access if you are a student of the ski school.

Where do you pick up your ski pass at Arosa Lenzerheide?

The ski pass to enjoy this Swiss ski area can be picked up at any of the ticket offices in Arosa or Lenzerheide, in either of the two valleys.

How to get to Arosa Lenzerheide?

By plane: The nearest international airport is Zurich and from there you will only have 2 hours to travel by car or transfer to Arosa Lenzerheide.

By car: Switzerland has a well-developed road network, just like neighboring countries such as France or Germany, and all major border checkpoints are open day and night. One thing you should keep in mind is that it is essential to drive on Swiss highways and freeways with a toll sticker called a "vignette". You can buy them at the border or at any service station.

By train: This is another method that many skiers think is the best way to get to Arosa, as the train service is very efficient and you will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
