What are the best ski resorts in Switzerland to spend Half Term?

1. Wengen

The centre of this village is completely pedestrian. In fact, you can only access it by train. If you book your ski holiday to Wengen with Esquiades.com, the package will include the ski pass to both Grindelwald and Wengen ski areas as well as all the journeys you need on the local train service.

This ski resort is absolutely stunning! The kids are going to be living their own fairytale. There's a nursery area where the kids can gain some confidence before shooting down wide blue slopes from Mannlichen all the way to Grindelwald.

We have a great selection of hotels located in Interlaken, Grindelwald and Wengen, all of which have a train station that will take you to the slopes. Most of the hotels have an indoor pool where you and the kids can relax in the evening before dinner.

2. St. Moritz

This ski resort is known worldwide for being one of the swankiest and most snow-sure ski resorts in Europe. It's also an excellent ski resort to take the kids.

Here you'll find one of the most prestigious and oldest Ski Schools in the world where your children can learn all the basics and tricks before joining you on the slopes in Piz Nair. There's also plenty to do after skiing like enjoying a lovely cup of Swiss hot chocolate with lovely views of the resort, watching the Horse Racing, strolling by the frozen lake of St. Moritz or warming up in the local thermal baths.

3. Klosters

The Davos Klosters Ski Resort has received a so-called "families welcome" seal.
