The Baqueira Beret ski resort arrives stomping and presents a winter full of novelties aimed at improving the experience of skiers.

167 kilometres of tracks

This winter, skiers and snowboarders will enjoy more kilometres, as they have a new red track: Eth Coret . It has its exit from the bottom of the Tq. Baciver and reaches Orri. With a length of 1,496 m, it allows a comfortable connection of the Baciver area with Orri and spectacular views of Cara Nord de Baqueira.

In parallel, this summer some areas of the resort have been improved : the Peülla, Pleta del Duc, Cap a Baqueira and Debutants slopes have been remodeled taking advantage of the snow production system placement, and the slopes in the Baciver area have been completed and improvements to the Snowpark located in Beret.

With a total of 112 marked slopes and 3 off-track itineraries , the total length will be 162 km of marked slopes and 5 km of itineraries. In total there will be 167 km of skiing distributed in an area of 2,273 hectares.

50 new innkeepers

The snow production area in Bonaigua has also been expanded, specifically on the Debutants, Cap a Baqueira slopes, in the access to the Tq. Tuc de la Llança, Pleta del Duc and Peülla slopes. This improvement translates into a total of 50 new innkeepers that will guarantee snow in key areas of this sector. The total sum of snow producers today is 710 with the capacity to inhale half of the slopes of the resort.

The advantages of BaqueiraPASS

The BaqueiraPASS is the new support of the Baqueira Beret ski pass that offers the skier greater comfort adapting to his needs. It is a personal card that provides the owner with a private area where he can perform several steps such as: check and update his data, check his invoices, customize communications ... But without a doubt the main advantage is that he can recharge his BaqueiraPASS or the Family and friends for the whole season or for days at reduced prices and without having to go through lockers.

The processing of the BaqueiraPASS ski pass costs € 10 and is valid for several seasons. Punctual day refills will enjoy a 5% discount on the box office price.

BaqueiraPASS opens to the customer a world of exclusivity and advantages that will be extended season by season.

Restoration Remodeling

Baqueira Beret is much more than a ski and snowboard resort, as evidenced by its wide culinary offer , suitable for all palates, even the most select. In total we have 25 restaurants and coffee shops on the slopes , 5 of which are themed and distill originality.

This winter, visitors will witness the improvements that have been implemented in some of the gastronomic premises of the resort, such as, for example, the extension of the Moët Winter Lounge , by adding the entire area of the former Parrec d'Orri, as well as the adjacent terrace. From now on, the entire building will be destined to this iconic place and will have more areas of interior restaurant and VIP room.

In parallel, the 2,200 Cafeteria has been completely remodeled , which has been built in a circular way with all the updated services and a better orientation of the large terrace that will allow spectacular views. The panorama covers from the peaks that crown Val de Ruda to the Aneto. At the same time, looking at the slopes, you can follow the Audi Ski Kronos installed on the route adjacent to this restoration point. As for gastronomy, it will offer a new offer of skewers and typical products of the Pyrenees.

In the successful Baqueira Bar 1500 important changes have also been made with a new bar location and bar area, much wider than the previous one. It has also improved the terrace area where concerts and DJ performances are performed with great public success among all those who finish their skiing day at this point.

Finally, the integral reform that has been carried out in one of the three wings of the Hotel Montarto deserves special attention. A total of 50 rooms have been remodeled , with the improvement of the layout, design and finishes, and the common areas of access to the rooms have been updated, with a new image and a new, more comfortable design.

At the forefront of technology

A new app (available for Android and iOS) has been created with greater functionalities, including geolocation, a new 3D slope map and the possibility to book in the cafeterias of the resort. The Daily Track Part has also been updated to increase the ease of interpretation.

Events

Internationally, the OPA-Alpen Cup alpine skiing competition for the U16 range in which you can see the future talents of the World Cup from February 11 to 13. There will also be a nightly show with the Audi e-Tron Leds that will take place on December 28 with the resort in full swing during the Christmas holidays. Finally, the Spanish-Movistar Championships of snowboardcross, skicross, slopestyle will be played in Beret from March 27 to 29 with the best riders on the peninsula seeking gold from the nationals.

But the first main event of winter will be the promotional holiday that every autumn is undertaken from Baqueira Beret in Spain.
