As of the next ski season, those who go to Baqueira Beret will be able to say that they have stayed at the Messi hotel if they choose one of the Himalaia's rooms. It is one of the four-star hotels located in the rue area, the most luxurious hotel area located at the foot of the slopes of the Val d'Aran winter resort.
This is what the Diari Segre de Lleida tells it, citing well-informed sources from the Val d'Aran, who assure that the establishment that until now was managed by Pierre Vacances is being transferred these days to Leo Messi.
The Argentinean adventure in the hotel sector began in March 2018 when he joined the Majestic brand of the Soldevilla Ferrer family to win the Vivé in the Pitiusian islands. They also changed the name to MiM Ibiza (Majestic i Messi). In this way, he followed in the footsteps of former Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo, who also has investments in the hotel and real estate sector under the CR7 brand .

Messi's intention is to continue buying emblematic establishments and expand his portfolio in the hotel sector. Last year he took over his second hotel, this time in Sitges. He paid for 30 million euros and transferred the management to the Majestic company. They renamed it MiM Sitges again .
It is not known if the Himalaia will also change its name, but everything seems to indicate that for the next ski season the hotel will be renamed MiM Baqueira.
