Its location in the Alto del Risquillo offers a privileged view Tormes Valley, Gredos massif and Piedrahita saws and Béjar. This combination makes the hotel ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside base. It is located 60 km from Ávila, where the railway and bus resorts are closest, and 170 km from Madrid. The center of Navarredonda de Gredos is just 2 km from the Parador and there are several bars. There are also several restaurants within a 10 minute drive. The hotel is right next to the bus stop. The river Tormes is a 30-minute walk. The Sierra de Gredos Regional Park and Puerto del Pico / Roman Road are 15 minutes away by car, while Eagle Cave and Arenas de San Pedro are 45 minutes. The sturdy stone walls of this historic hotel, which opened in 1928, conceal a comfortable interior and a total of 74 rooms. The classic wood interiors prevail in the dining room, library and classrooms. The granite columns and the furniture creates a traditional Castilian style. The hotel also has gardens and terraces.
