About the accommodation
Dating back to 1886, this historic hotel underwent a complete renovation and offers excellent service in a great location in the French Quarter, on the famous Royal Street. The main tourist areas of the city are accessible on foot from the hotel. This hotel, restored in 2005, has 15 floors and a total of 570 bedrooms, 30 of which are suites. In the spacious lobby you will find a lift and a 24-hour reception area, where a cloakroom is offered. It also has a kiosk, the famous Carousel bar (with live piano music) and 2 restaurants, conference room, Internet connection, laundry and room service and car park. The bedrooms have a minibar, coffee maker, ironing set and a marble and granite bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer. In addition, they are air-conditioned and equipped with a direct dial telephone, Internet connection, radio and satellite or cable TV, a double or king-size bed, a hire safe and individual heating.. Deluxe Rooms have the same equipment mentioned but are larger and offer views of the Mississippi or the French Quarter. On the roof you will have available a heated pool and a terrace.
