What's new in Astún for the 2025-2026 ski season?

You won't have to wait to get toAstúnto see some of its new features. One of the improvements that we will find this winter is the asphalting of the road to the ski resort. It improves both comfort and safety on this route that has been completely renovated.

Depending on where you have parked, and on the way to the slopes, we will be able to see another of the new features, in this case for beginners. The Collarada tape has been covered this year with a canopy to protect from external weather conditions.

And already on the slopes and before taking a lift, we find another novelty. On the Midi terrace, next to the Hotel Europa, a new restaurant has been opened that will expand and improve the gastronomic offer available directly on the slopes. With a high mountain decoration, it adds one more proposal to the restaurant offer in the Astún ski resort. A new medical office has also opened in the same area.

News in Astún: The road is already paved, the new medical center built and the restaurant prepared.

Continuing at the base, we can find that the snow production system has been reinforced on the Salida slope with 1 high efficiency TR8 cannon and 8 TechnoAlpin TL8 lances.

Further up the slopes, this summer a complete overhaul of the Pastores chairlift has been carried out, and work is being done on the recovery of the Canal Roya, which last January lost one of its parts at the exit terminal, causing an accident.causing an accidentafter the steel cable gave a whiplash, propelling several chairs.
