The “Safe Tourism Certified” seal, created by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE) and the Government of Spain, is the guarantee of the strictest implementation of the health risk prevention system, against Covid-19, in hotel establishments.
The Panticosa Spa adds this certification to those that the Community of Aragon had already granted to the complex, "Safe Hospitality" , before the start of the summer campaign. Obtaining these badges ensures the correct execution of the different measures and, at the same time, generates confidence in customers and tour operators.
The Panticosa Spa, a tourist destination located in the heart of the Pyrenees of Huesca , operates under the protection of the "Safe Tourism Certified" and "Safe Hospitality" seals, both guaranteeing compliance with the strictest requirements in cleaning and health measures. and hygiene against Covid-19.
The Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE) has awarded the complex the “Safe Tourism Certified” seal as a guarantee and certification mark for the implementation of the Health Risk Prevention System against COVID-19. To obtain the seal, the complex has undergone an audit by the Bureau Veritas certifier, one of the few certifiers accepted by the ICTE.
In this way, and after intensive preparation and training work, the Panticosa Spa adds the “Safe Tourism Cerified” seal to those granted by the Community of Aragon, before the start of the summer campaign. Specifically, these are the "Safe Accommodation" and "Safe Restaurant" stamps, which the Government of Aragon, together with the Provincial Association of Hospitality and Tourism of Huesca, has developed to guarantee the implementation of the necessary sanitary measures for the correct operation of the tourist establishments of the Autonomous Community.
Despite the fact that the surroundings and infrastructure of the Panticosa Spa encourage the non-concentration of people , for this summer season, not only the protocols promoted by the Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality and by the Government of Aragon have been adapted, but which has expanded the supply of these in some cases, to offer maximum security for both its workers and its guests.
Despite the fact that the maximum availability of the Panticosa Spa, in normal conditions, exceeds 250 rooms, the management of the complex decided to limit the capacity to 50% , in order to be able to comply with the requirements of social distancing, especially in the areas common.
For the operation of the Termas de Tiberio Thermal Palace, the same criteria have been used, establishing shifts of 50 - 60 people, when the maximum capacity is 120.
The complex, which reopened its doors on July 10 with an occupancy of 116 rooms, is exceeding its first forecasts and is confident that obtaining these badges will generate confidence in customers and tour operators for the continuation.
