The mountain resorts managed by FGC conclude the Christmas holidays with a very positive balance of visitors, exceeding the figures recorded in 2019, in which the season was exceptional and the great snowfall encouraged many visitors to move in the Cerdanya, the Berguedà , the Ripollès, the Pallars Sobirà and the high Ribagorça to enjoy the snow, nature and the environment.
This year's festivities have been marked by good weather, with a lot of stability throughout the Christmas holiday period, and much thicker than last year. To this fact has been added the good condition of the slopes, the wide range of services and alternative ski activities that have been carried out at the resorts, a key element for achieving very positive figures for the regions.
Once again, FGC mountain resorts have contributed to the revitalization of the territory.

During the Christmas holidays, La Molina has had an increase of 56% respect last Christmas. Among the activities of the resort, it is necessary to highlight the ride with the Cadí- * Moixeró cable car which, with the extension to the Eagle's Nest, has been one of the resort's star activities. Also the first race of the year, the Children's Descent, with all the registrations sold out, the Popular Night March and the descent of Torches to receive SSMM the Kings of the East.
As for the Ripollès, Vall de Nuria and Vallter 2000 resorts, the former has registered 32% higher figures than last season. As usual, one of the most favorable points for the resort has been the restoration, where 80% occupancy has been registered, 11% more than the previous season.
As for Vallter, the increase in visitors has been 67% of people who have visited the resort this Christmas.
In the Pallars Sobirà region, the Espot and Port Ainé resorts have also had an increase in visitors: in Espot 19% more than in 2019 and to Porto Ainé, 8% more than last season.
On the other hand, Boí Taüll resort, in the high Ribagorça, has increased 5.5% the number of visitors respect last year.
In these holidays, as is usual at this time of year, Boí Taüll users have been able to enjoy various activities such as those scheduled for Christmas Day, the traditional torch descent last Saturday, December 28 and the visit of Reyes Wizards to close the Christmas program.
Most of the resorts managed by FGC operate at 90% and it is expected that over the next few days they will fully open their skiing domain.
Therefore, these resorts currently operate with the following snow thicknesses: from 20 to 50 cm in La Molina; from 30 to 40 cm to Vall de Nuria; from 20 to 60 cm to Vallter 2000, from 30 to 80 cm to Port Ainé, from 40 to 100 cm in Espot and from 60 to 160 cm in Boí Taüll.
The mountain resorts of FGC are planning to close their activity on April 13, with the exception of Vall de Nuria that keeps its facilities open all year.
