Next Thursday, December 21 is scheduled to start the night ski season in Masella, in time for the Christmas holidays. The Cerdanya ski resort has maintained one of the largest skiing offers during the Immaculate Conception holiday, and is working from now on to consolidate the open surface and try to expand it.
The season has started discreetly in terms of snowfall, which has fallen 'surgically' and so far without intensity. Even so, the mountain staff has tried to adapt as many slopes as possible, with a daily average of 27 kilometers, thanks also to the production of snow, increasingly efficient and with the progressive renewal of equipment for others that make a rational use of water.
Currently in Masella they have 100% of the skiable slope open. That is to say, you can ski from the cim de la Tosa at 2,535 meters, to the very base of the ski resort at elevation 1700 in the Pla de Masella, which makes a continuous descent of 935 meters.
- Length: 27 kilometers
- Slopes: 14
- Ski Areas: 5 open (Pla de Masella, Bosc d'Alp, Cap del Bosc, Coma Oriola and la Tosa).
- Lifts: 4 chairlifts (TGV, Jumbo Tosa, Masella Jet, Coma Oriola) and two belts (Pastors and Pastorets).
