Grandvalira opens 137 kilometers in the final stretch of the season

This weekend forecasts indicates that we will enjoy time-varying with sun predominance so there is no better way to take advantage of the good weather that doing the last downhill of the season in Grandvalira. Exceptional snow conditions have widened the season and the ski domain will be open without interruption until next April 28 with its 137 kilometers of ski pistes. With 90cm of snow in the lower elevations and up to 200cm in high, it foresees a perfect weekend to enjoy the snow again!
This means a total of 77 ski run s, keeping 60% of the ski lifts in operation and ensuring the link between all sectors except Canillo domain, which remains closed. Thermometers are gonna come down a bit over the weekend so the snow will remain in good condition for the practice of winter sports.
The ski resort is gonna count on 90cm of snow in the lower elevations and 200 in the highest parts, Grandvalira becomes then in one of the European stations with more practicable miles this spring, only beaten by the great Alpine domains such as Zermatt (Switzerland) or French stations: Tignes and Val d'Isere.
For this latter part of the season is essential to follow the advice of professionals to safely enjoy spring skiing. The snow conditions are more demanding and require good physical shape, but in turn, climate invites to rest and recharge small sunbathing on the terraces that are distributed by the station.
