The organizers of the HEAD 12 HOURS NON STOP Masella 2019 have been forced to cancel this year's edition after verifying that the conditions for such a competition were not adequate as reported in this statement:

Despite the high expectations created for this third edition of the HEAD 12 HOURS NON STOP Masella 2019, the technical direction of the race has had to make the decision to cancel the test.
A forced decision since the organization of the # HEAD12HORASNONSTOP Masella cannot guarantee the safety of the participants for 12 hours in a row and in the entire route, due to the high temperatures of the last days. One thing to keep in mind is that, in the last edition, nothing more was completed and nothing less than 1,500 descents along the same path.
Since this test is a playful event where safety prevails over all, the technical management has considered that its cancellation is the most appropriate option to prevent anyone from suffering any damage.
We are sorry for what happened and we hope to return next year with more force!
