Baqueira Beret closes a full summer with a multitude of activities in the Val d'Aran.

Baqueira Beret has offered summer activities from July 1 to September 3, with mountain biking and hiking as the most popular, accompanied by a high gastronomic offer in the station itself.

The new MTB circuits have been key to an increase of more than 60% in mountain biking in Baqueira Beret facilities compared to summer 2022. The cycling trails were divided between the more enduro trails located in the Baqueira ski area and the so-called "flow trails" very easy and for the whole family between Beret and Orri. Undoubtedly, the variety offered by the resort has been key to attract a very varied public that found routes for every level.

Mountain biking has taken center stage this year in Baqueira.

The Tsd. Clòt der Os in Beret and Tsd. Bosque in Baqueira have been open to facilitate access both to the hiking trails for excursions in the higher areas and also to get directly to the MTB "flow tracks", which have also been passable in both directions without the need for lifts but with good legs or electric bike.

It should be noted that, including the offer of the resort, the Vall d'Aran has 900 km of routes marked by the Consell General d'Aran and that have in Baqueira with the support of the City Council of Naut Aran.

Regarding walking trails, the most successful has been the circular trail of Lacs det Clot der Os, in Beret, with a length of almost 3 km and an easy slope of 116 m accessible from the ski lift of the same name.

In Baqueira it has also been possible this summer to rent motorcycles and electric bicycles for all levels, yoga lessons at Bar Baqueira 1500 with breakfast included and horseback riding in Beret. In addition to these, there are other activities along the Vall d'Aran such as canyoning, rafting or the Aran Park for wild animals, among others.

Accommodation, restaurants and high altitude concerts

The hotel Montarto, largely renovated, has been the enclave for families, cyclists or simply those looking for a high altitude hotel with spa, large pool and garden. Guests were offered free excursions to discover the Vall d'Aran with the renowned guide and naturalist Ignacio Aldea. Around the Montarto, the restaurants Borda Lobato and the Wine Bar by Viña Pomal added a gastronomic touch to the Forum area.

The concerts at the Borda Lobato, the yoga sessions at the Baqueira Bar 1500 where breakfasts and snacks were the order of the day.

In Beret the Pla de Beret restaurant with gourmet menu and market cuisine has completed this varied summer offer with its climax on the night of observation of the Perseids.

Baqueira Beret is already focused on the winter season 2023-2024 and in fact the season pass is already on sale in advance with special conditions, with an eye on the start of the ski season on November 25, 2023.
