If you had already fired winter, perhaps the time this weekend will encourage you to take the skis again. And it seems that the season is not over yet: according to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), it appears that the snow will be featured in the Pyrenees and the Alps, and temperatures descend from Saturday, March 4, to regain normal values for the time, still winter.

The cold front arrives from the Atlantic happening Friday at spring time covering the entire peninsula from west to east, with precipitation that enter Galicia and will extend throughout the day, reaching the Pyrenees late afternoon. However, forecasts indicate that the Cantabrian and Pyrenees receive heavy snowfalls over the weekend and can gradually be extended until Monday.

The snow level will drop to 500-700 meters in the northwest, and between 700 and 900 meters in the downtown area, southern Plateau, Iberian and western Pyrenees. In the rest of the Peninsula will snow from 900 or 1,100 meters.

On Saturday, the situation will be a lot of variability with the arrival of a storm that will be diverted to the south to Sierra Nevada. Thus, it is expected that the snow level in the ski resort Granada oscillate about 1,700 meters.
