41st edition of the Marxa Beret cross-country skiing

After the snowfall of the last days, which have allowed to reach 180 cm of snow at high levels of the resort, the track teams are working intensely on the 10, 21 and 42 km paths. La Marxa Beret is the most popular open-country cross-country skiing event in Spain and will be held on February 1 and 2 .

During the first weekend of February, the Val d'Aran and Valls d'Àneu resort will receive the Marxa Beret, proof that it is open and at the same time is included in the calendar of the International Ski Federation (FIS) of races popular (ML) in its distance of 42 km to play on Sunday along with the distances of 10 and 21 km, all of them in classic style.

It is one of the most consolidated Nordic skiing tests carried out on the peninsula. Each year it has many participants, around a thousand, who do not want to miss the appointment. It is mostly a family audience and groups of friends who take it as a sports party, but also licensed athletes who seek to climb to the top of the podium.
