About the accommodation

Randa is a small mountain town in the Swiss canton of Valais, Valais or Tal, which is only a 15-minute train ride from Zermatt. Surrounded by larches, mountains and glaciers, it is the perfect place to spend your vacation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Attractive summer and winter offers await you here in the tourist region of Zermatt-Matterhorn. If you travel to Randa in summer, you will find the ideal starting point for excursions in high mountain regions or for hiking. Mountaineers have the option of crowning Switzerland's highest mountain, the cathedral, or opting for four thousand simpler ones like the Breithorn. If, on the other hand, you prefer something quieter, you will also find many well-marked hiking trails in Randa and Zermatt. Small mountain huts with a wonderful view of waterfalls and streams. In addition, the attractions are complemented by a wide range of sporting and cultural activities so that you can enjoy your summer vacation in the Zermatt-Matterhorn region. Winter sports are not far behind. The 15 km long cross-country ski trails invite you to enjoy nature. A small natural ice rink and a chair lift for beginners or children guarantee peace and entertainment for older and younger visitors. Reaching the "Matterhorn Ski Paradise" or Matterhorn is very easy. This is one of the largest ski areas in the world: 360 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes await enthusiastic ski visitors. Near Zermatt, in Randa, is the Bergdohle rural accommodation. Your situation is very central; Only five minutes from the train resort. The trip to Zermatt on the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn line takes only 15 minutes. There are two restaurants and a small grocery store in the immediate vicinity of the country house.
