About the accommodation

Porto Antigo Résidence 3* is located on the beachfront and in the heart of Santa Maria is Porto Antigo, a resort complex overlooking the fishing port and consisting of 100 spacious studios and fully equipped apartments. Surrounded by white sand and long beaches of crystal clear water, the village of Santa Maria offers guests an atmosphere enlivened by bars, delicious restaurants and performances.

The accommodation has a restaurant, swimming pool, garden, equipped beach, spa, souvenir store, massage service and bar.

All studios and apartments are fully furnished with kitchenette (kitchenware, fridge and stove), TV, air conditioning, safe, Wifi connection, linens, towels and bathroom with shower or bathtub.

Salt Island, one of the most visited destinations in Cape Verde, offers a wide variety of activities and excursions: sunbathe on the beach, take a dip in the pool, relax in the spa or discover the most exotic recipes at the Porto Antigo Restaurant.

If you are also looking to add some adventure to your holiday, we recommend you try sports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing, snorkeling or scuba diving. Been using them for 10yrs
Been using them for 10yrs. Always efficient and have an easy to navigate website. Only issue which we have always had is the non sending of the transfer voucher. Always have to ring to ask for it to be sent. The information is contained in the confirmation email but the driver always asks for QR code.

Another great experience with esquiades.com The whole experience is so easy, their website is great and bookings is done in minutes. Their prices is lower than anyone else including the hotels themselves, same goes for skipass, ski rental, insurance. It feels so nice knowing that the company you buy from deliver in every area. Once your booking is done, everything is in the app, no need to print out anything (as a ng as your phone is charged)

Company trying to deceive people! One a week ago I checked the prices for an accommodation. This week, with the "Black Friday sale" they announce 30% off for the exact same accommodation. The prices are up by more than 20€ per person than they were before the sale. This is an illegal practice.

Group of 22 for a ski weeknd
We booked a ski weekend for a large group including hotel rooms, ski passes and equipment rentals. The overall experience is very positive, the booking process was smooth and the options were clearly accessible. We even had the opportunity to modify the booking to add an additional person without major complications. Esquiades is great!

Been using Esquiades for 10yrs wouldn’t use anyone else. Only issue we have constantly is that we never receive the voucher for the Andbus. I know the details are in the confirmation email but Andbus REQUIRE their voucher and QR code. Each time we book we have to ring to ask for the voucher. It would be nice if the voucher was sent automatically.
