From the first moment, you will understand why it is one of the most popular family ski destinations in southern Europe, as well as one of the most extensive ski areas in the French Pyrenees . The Pyrenean town of the same name, located at 800 m altitude, is also a gift for the senses.

Saint-Lary is distributed in three zones. The first one is Saint-Lary 1700 or Pla d'Adet , the first that opened its doors to the public. You will find it at the arrival of the ski lifts of the town and right in front of most of the mountain hotels. This area has been recently renovated and is perfect for beginners and families who go skiing with children. This point of the resort, the lowest altitude, has a ski school, a nursery, the Piou Piou snow garden, luge slopes and the L'Echarpe green track . What does this ski getaway look bad on the December bridge in Saint-Lary?

At about 1,650 m altitude, you will find Saint-Lary 1900 or Espiaube , an intermediate sector crossed by long tracks of more than 3 km, such as those of Mirabelle or Terranère, which are among the best rated of the resort. The first is accessed by 2 detachable chairlifts and a gondola. By the way: there is also a restaurant.
