Following the previous heat wave, temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees in most part of mainland Spain, the Summer weather has come to an end. From Sunday 19th of March the temperatures will drop one again and so, Winter will make a come back! So, apparently, the ski season isn't over yet. The weather forecast predicts that a rainfall over the weekend that will extend from Galicia and the mountains in Cantabria all the way to the centre and east of mainlan Spain. This will result in a snowfall at relatively low levels which is great news for skiers as the temperatures will drop.
The snow level will remain relatively low for most of the week, while the temperatures continue to drop. The forecast reports that it will snow, especially in the Pyrenees and Sierra Nevada, but will also do, with less intensity, in the mountains of Cantabria and the Iberian and Central areas of mainland Spain.
Notably they are only predictions and so we will have to wait and see what there's to come. For now, Andorra and the Catalan and Aragonese Pyrenees offer more than 90% of its skiable surface. So if you thought that the ski season was over, you were wrong. Make the most of what's left of the Winter and book one of our ski deals!
