The Marxa Beret reaches its 40th edition as the great Nordic skiing open party in Spain

The Nordic ski open party in the Pyrenees par excellence reaches its 40th edition . During the first weekend of February, the Val d'Aran and Valls d'Àneu resort will receive the Marxa Beret, proof that it is open and at the same time is included in the calendar of the International Ski Federation (FIS) of races popular (ML), it will also be the Spanish Long Distance Championship and is part of the Spain Cup Ski Lotteries in the background of the RFEDI.

On Saturday, February 2 , at 10:00 a.m., the Sprint Salomon test will be held, which this edition will also be the Spanish Sprint Championship in the modality of free technique. On Sunday , February 3 , the 40th edition of the Marxa Beret will be played , with a popular 10 km circuit in the Beret and Orri area; the one of 21 km in the zone of Beret, Orri and Montgarri and finally the circuit of 42 km in zone Beret, Orri, Montgarri and direction Marimanha. These are the plot forecasts, the final route will be decided by the technicians the last week before the event depending on the conditions.

It is possible to register online through www.marxaberet.com and as a novelty this year the organizers raffle material from the sponsoring brands among all those who have registered online. So far they have exceeded 500 registered so that those responsible are very satisfied since usually the previous registrations were at a lower rate.

The tradition of Nordic skiing

La Marxa Beret is one of the most consolidated Nordic skiing tests carried out in the national territory, and every year it has a large number of participants, around a thousand, who do not want to miss the appointment. It is mostly a family audience and groups of friends who take it as a sports party but also meet athletes with a license runner eager for results.

La Marxa Beret is organized by the Consell Generau d'Aran, Baqueira Beret and the town hall of Naut Arán. It has the collaboration of: Val d'Aran Volentaris Association, Foment Torisme Val d'Aran, Diputació de Lleida, City Council of Vielha and Mijaran Pompièrs d'Aran, Aran Salut, Mossos d'Esquadra, INS d'Aran, in addition to the Royal Spanish Winter Sports Federation (RFEDI), the Catalan Federation of Sports d'Hivern (FCEH) and the various sponsors. To consolidate as a great Nordic ski party, the Conselh Generau d'Aran and Baqueira Beret have proposed a series of activities parallel to the Marxa Beret so that all participants enjoy a pleasant and complete weekend.
