The resort plans to open on November 29, conditions permitting, and close on April 6, offering a renewed experience with the new Ski Track App, expansion of the ski area with five new slopes, improvements in restoration and infrastructure and new environmental actions.

Baqueira Beret is preparing to welcome a new ski season, scheduled between November 29, 2025 and April 6, 2026, if conditions permit. This season stands out for a global commitment that combines technological innovation, expansion of the skiable offer to five more slopes that add 2 km to the slopes map, improvements in restoration and reinforcement of its sustainability strategy, consolidating the resort as one of the reference destinations in the Pyrenees.

More slopes and better access

The ski area now has 130 runs and 173 skiable kilometres (169 marked runs and 4 itineraries), with the addition of five new blue runs: Cargolh, Lebre 1, Arrianglo, Poric and Sautarèth, ideal for intermediate skiers.

The naming of some runs has also been updated to facilitate orientation and specific improvements have been made for beginners, such as the widening of Dera Cascada (Tortuga 2), new connections at Lebre and Clòt der Os, and more accessible runs in key areas such as Orri.

Refurbished restaurant and après-ski facilities

The gastronomic experience takes a step forward this season. The La Perdiu Blanca restaurant at Hotel Montarto has been completely renovated, enhancing the half-board experience at this 4-star hotel directly on the slopes. The former Drinkery is transformed into a new après ski meeting point with sweet proposals by becoming the Xocolateria Jolonch, recognized brand owned by the traditional Torrons Vicens. The iconic Moët Winter Lounge has a new image, with updated furnishings and décor that reinforce its exclusive character.

Investments in infrastructure

The ski resort continues to strengthen its technical capacity with the incorporation of two new winch-equipped snow grooming machines, which make it possible to work with greater precision on steep slopes.

In terms of snow production, 14 new snowmakers have been installed at Ta Dossau, the lower North Face has been reinforced and 12 old ones have been replaced by 6 new generation ones, which are more efficient and sustainable. Improvements have also been made in the preparation of the terrain to optimize safety and optimize the required snow thickness, thus increasing overall efficiency.

Ski Track App: technological innovation

The main innovation this winter is the Ski Track App, a tool that accompanies skiers throughout their day at the resort. The app offers three new functionalities. On the one hand, you can record the descents in detail (kilometres traveled, cumulative elevation gain or number of descents). You can also view 3D routes to plan your skiing and, finally, you can share your location in real time with other users. In addition, it integrates an interactive 2D map with geolocation, which facilitates orientation throughout the ski area.

Commitment to sustainability

Sustainability continues to mark the roadmap ofBaqueira Beret. This season, innovative actions have been incorporated, such as the removal of waste in riverbeds using drones, which allows for more precise and faster cleaning. Also, planting and reseeding work has been carried out in sensitive areas to protect the ecosystem and the progressive installation of windbreaks continues, with 2 additional kilometres in Montgarri, Ruda and the lower part of Dera Cascada. These measures favor the natural accumulation of snow and reduce the need for snow production.

In addition, in July the upper reaches of the Noguera Pallaresa river received the "Wild Rivers" distinction, an international recognition for its excellent state of conservation and the compatibility between human activity and environmental protection.
