These investments will be mainly allocated to the Arinsal-Pal ski link project, the change of the Port Negre de Arinsal chairlift, which will be relocated to the Seig area of the Tarter ski area, and finally, the refurbishment of the Refugi d'Arinsal restaurant.

Upcoming investments

La Massana, March 6, 2023 - Today the SETAP365 board of directors validated the upcoming investments that will positively affect the activity of its resorts from the 2023-2024 season.

For next season, the Pal-Arinsal resort will notice a great improvement in its facilities with new features that will enhance the ski area d'Arinsal and the area of Coll de la Botella and Setúria a Pal. The most important investment will go to the start of phase 1 of the ski link between Arinsal-Pal.

These investments will allow the start of the construction of the union of the two ski areas and will have new red, black and blue connecting slope s in the Setúria area. A new ski lift will also be installed, as well as snow-growing snowmakers and avalanche protection nets. During this phase, the cable car will continue to guarantee transportation between Port Negre and Coll de la Botella.

Pal-Arinsal ski resort

These investments will also be used to replace the current Port Negre chairlift with a new lift that will improve access to the upper part of Arinsal, facilitating the connection between the two ski areas. This mechanical device will be replaced by a 6-people detachable chairlift.

The Tarter ski area will also benefit from this change. The current 4-people fixed chairlift will be placed in the Seig area, allowing the creation of a new space with these slopes equipped with growing snow and, therefore, achieving an increase in the skiable area .

Pal-Arinsal Ski Resort

Finally, the other novelty will be the refurbishment of the Refugi de Arinsal restaurant, located near the base of Comallemple. This will be one of the most important gastronomic points in the resort and available during all months of the year, for the winter and summer season.
