These legends have visited the freeride areas of the largest ski resort in southern Europe after jumping from a helicopter
Grandvalira and GORE-TEX ® have joined efforts to bring to Androrra two world best exponents of freeride. Seb Michaud and Bruno Compagnet have come to the largest ski resort in southern Europe jumping from a helicopter to the freeride area of El Tarter sector in Grandvalira, performing a unique demonstration of experience and knowledge in wilderness skiing. Extreme sport lovers will find in Grandvalira the perfect place to practice it in an incomparable setting freeride on powder snow with obstacles and jumps. In areas already familiar to regular skiers of the ski slopes, this season presents the Encampadana Freeride Area by GORE-TEX ® and one in the Pic Blanc, also sponsored by the American brand.
In the coming months, GORE-TEX ® held various events such as, racing internationally renowned riders who also directed several master classes in these new freeride areas located in the areas of Grau Roig and El Tarter Grandvalira, respectively. Seb Michaud and Bruno Compagnet have toguether more than two decades of experience , Seb Michaud began his career twelve years ago. Renowned Swiss rider has participated in several international competitions and has been very successful among which achieved second place in 2008 in the Freeride World Tour Ranking. He is a member of Freeride World Tour where official speaker and has created competition in Argentina Invitation Seb Michaud.
After the exhibition held today, Michaud said "Grandvalira ski resort is great and I am delighted to have been able to open the new Freeride Area Encampadana by GORE-TEX ® because it is a safe and excellent for freeride practice, especially if we consider that sometimes it is difficult to find a station that offers areas in which to practice this sport in Spain and Andorra. "
