About the accommodation
The Stafford is one of London's best kept secrets: a luxurious and elegant hidden residence in historic St James's. It is located a few meters from Piccadilly, the modern Bond Street and Jermyn Street, making it the ideal hotel for shopping, eating and going to the theater, and also for doing business in this exclusive London enclave. Privately owned, we are very proud of our discreet and friendly staff, whose attention and care are manifest in all our spacious rooms. We recently remodeled our 105 rooms in a classic style to provide them with free Internet access, fine English bedding and Floris toiletries. The main house is composed of three 17th-century townhouses, and is full of character and charm. In 2007 we added 26 new suites at The Stafford Mews, perfect for families, these great suites have a nice patio and a gym with all the machines. Finding ourselves in an alley in the middle of a courtyard, we are probably one of the quietest hotels in London. The American bar is a London classic, adorned with memories donated over 40 years, it is the perfect place to have a cocktail and very popular at lunchtime, since it has terraces that are the sensation when the weather is nice . The classic Stafford restaurant is an elegant place for a special dinner, which has an unsurpassed wine collection, you can have lunch in our 350-year-old wineries. Located in the heart of London's St. James's Place, a few steps from Buckingham Palace and St James's Palace, Piccadilly, lies this little gem of Great British hospitality - The Stafford London by Kempinski.
