About the accommodation

The hotel is located in the old town and is built on the location of the old cloister of the Church of Santo Domingo. The center of La Seu d'Urgell is just a 5-minute walk away and a variety of shops, gastronomic and leisure facilities, as well as several museums and parks are nearby. The hotel was built in the location of the old monastery with its spectacular cloister, in the middle of the ruins of the old Dominican convent. It was renovated in 2004 and has 79 rooms spread over 4 floors. Among the facilities offered is the lobby with 24-hour reception service, currency exchange, elevator, cafeteria, bar, TV room, restaurant, conference facilities and, with extra charge, WiFi Internet connection, room service and of laundry and parking. The rooms are decorated in modern style and have all the necessary furniture and amenities. The equipment includes bathroom with hairdryer, direct dial telephone, cable / satellite TV, Internet connection, minibar, double bed, air conditioning and heating and safe. There is a swimming pool and a gym inside the hotel grounds, as well as a terrace with sun loungers and parasols. At Alt Urgell guests can practice different sports in the beautiful natural environment, such as skiing, rafting, golf, horse riding and canoeing. Breakfast is served in the form of a large continental buffet, while lunch and dinner can be selected from a menu or à la carte. The N-260 road is the main access to the city. The Parador is located in the old town, near the cathedral and the town hall. The bus company that connects the city with other destinations is Alsina Graells.
