The Artur Martorell colonies house with a new and functional design, was the first colonies house built of new plant for this functionality. Recently renovated and improved, it offers new and unbeatable facilities. It is located in Calafell.

The situation of the house of colonies Artur Martorell is privileged, on the Costa Dorada and very close to the beach. The almost always favorable weather and an environment in the upper part of the town surrounded by vineyards, make this place a perfect place to develop varied leisure activities. The proximity to the old town of Calafell gives rise to know and play around the medieval castle or visit the Iberian citadel.

The house is designed to host schools, leisure centers, groups of friends, entities and especially, designed for family stays on weekends and summer. Its new rooms with bathroom and ample outdoor space facilitate the family stay. It has rooms for 4 and 10 people, various dining rooms and several activity rooms. A sports court, a swimming pool and a recreational area complement the magnificent useful outdoor space.

The house hosts the educational project of the School of the Sea, which develops educational programs for schools of all levels and the general public. The discovery of the beach and the coast, wind and sand, and traditional fishing activities, along with cultural visits to the castle, the Iberian citadel, the Port of Vilanova or the natural beach of Torredembarra, are some of the activities that are proposed. Its proximity to Port Aventura is an added value for leisure and holiday stays.
