1 What is our Covid-19 Refund Promise?
Now that the 2020/2021 ski season is over, we have been working super hard on offering you new and improved booking terms and conditions so that you can book your next ski holiday with complete peace of mind knowing that our team will always offer you the best solution to any situation that may arise.
This is why we are going to offer you our Covid-19 Refund Promise for the 2021/2022 ski season.
What is our Covid-19 Refund Promise?
Our team of ski and snowboard in Esquiades.com have come up with this new service and have contacted each and every mountain hotel, apartment and chalet we work with so that together we can offer you free cancellation in the event that you cannot travel due to Covid-19. During the 2020/2021 ski season we have offered a service that you could add to your booking with an additional cost that allowed you to cancel your booking for free if the reason for this cancellation was related to Covid-19. For our ski deals for the 2021/2022 season, we are going to include this service in your ski holiday, with no extra cost.
During the booking process, you will be able to check which hotels and mountain apartments have complied with our promise and guarantee a total refund of your stay if you are not able to travel due to Covid-19.
We are going to list all the reasons why we consider that you are forced to cancel due to Covid-19.
✓ Lockdown.
In the event that your country, town/city or county is in total lockdown and, therefore, you cannot travel during the dates of your holiday. It also applies if the destination you are going to visit during your holiday is also in lockdown.
✓ Closing of the ski resort.
If for health and safety reasons, the ski resort you are going to visit is closed or in quarantine due to Covid-19.
✓ Closing of the hotel.
In the event that the hotel you have booked is forced to close for health and safety reasons. If this happens during your stay at the hotel, we will refund the nights that have been cancelled.
✓ Medical leave of one of the travellers.
If any traveller in the booking is on sick leave during the travel dates due to Covid-19.
✓ Self-isolation of some of the travellers.
If any traveller in the booking is not on sick leave but must self-isolate for having been in contact with a positive for Covid-19 and, therefore, cannot go on holiday during the booking dates.
So, if you have to cancel your booking for one of the reasons that we have just mentioned, you will only have to
contact our customer service department (no later than 24 hours after knowing that you cannot travel) and send them an official document that indicates one of these reasons and we will take care of the rest. As simple as that!
